Join us at The Bookshop on the Square to celebrate the launch of local author J.R. Ellis' new novel in his Yorkshire Murder Mystery series 'The Secret Garden Murders'. John will be here to talk all about his latest release, answer audience questions and sign copies!

J. R. Ellis has lived in Yorkshire for most of his life. After retiring from a career in teaching, he began his writing of murder mysteries set in the varied landscapes and communities of the county. He is a member of the Otley writers' group, publishing anthologies of their work. As well as murder mysteries, he also writes poetry and short stories, coming second in both categories at the 2018 Saltaire Writer's Competition.
